Entry Level Semiconductor Test Engineer
Role Summary
Support semiconductor test engineering activities for new product introductions and development verification. Work with test, design, manufacturing, and quality teams to execute evaluations, troubleshoot issues, and document results.
This is an on-site position in Chandler focused on technical learning and contributing to product quality and readiness.
Experience Level
Entry-level (new graduate / early career). No specific years of prior experience required.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include test setup, execution, coordination, and documentation:
- Prepare test data, run evaluations, analyze results, and document findings.
- Assist with setup, qualification, and troubleshooting of test hardware, fixtures, and processes.
- Coordinate technical tasks across test, design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve issues and enable product readiness.
- Maintain and update test plans, reports, and engineering records for project visibility.
- Contribute to smooth development execution and product quality through testing and technical learning.
Requirements
Technical skills and attributes required or strongly preferred:
- Solid foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with engineering, design, verification, programming, or laboratory tools; demonstrated ability and willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Nice-to-have: hands-on lab experience from projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions.
- Nice-to-have: exposure to Automated Test Equipment (ATE) programming and fundamental test techniques.
Education Requirements
Master's degree (or graduating soon) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
