Role Summary

Support Reliability Stress Lab operations in Palm Bay, FL. Perform equipment maintenance, wiring, test setup, and troubleshooting for qualification tests (HTOL, HAST, THB), and collaborate with Product Quality and REL Lab staff to execute reliability qualifications with a focus on preventing lab-induced failures.

This is an on-site laboratory role that requires attention to procedure, strong technical skills, and effective communication.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include maintenance and operation of stress lab equipment, test setup, and troubleshooting of qualification hardware.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot failed stress-lab equipment.
• Load and unload biased qualification hardware into and out of stress chambers; power up and power down hardware and chambers.
• Troubleshoot suspect or failed qualification hardware (HTOL, HAST, THB); read and interpret schematics to resolve issues.
• Perform chamber wiring, including power supply and rack interfacing.
• Support Product Quality Engineers in coordinating stress-lab hardware wiring and the overall qualification process.
• Learn and become proficient in various Reliability Lab procedures and equipment.
• Maintain a zero lab-induced-failure mindset and rigorous attention to detail.

Requirements

Must-have skills, conditions, and clearances:

• Strong electrical/electronic and mechanical skills.
• Proficiency with test equipment: digital voltmeter (DVM), oscilloscope, signal generator, power supplies, current source.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong problem-solving ability.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong organizational skills and high initiative.
• Understanding of semiconductor stress lab operations and laboratory procedures.
• ITAR role — must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person.

Education Requirements

AS or AA in electrical (or related), military training, or 5+ years of relevant work experience; equivalent practical experience is acceptable.
