Engineering Program Manager

Role Summary

Lead and drive execution of complex silicon development programs from concept through production across global, cross-functional teams. Ensure schedule, quality, and business alignment by coordinating engineering, product, and operations stakeholders.

Experience Level

Senior β€” requires 8+ years in semiconductor IP, product, or process development and 2–3+ years in program or technical project management.

Responsibilities

Accountable for end-to-end program planning, execution, and stakeholder alignment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Own program execution across silicon/IP development, managing milestones, dependencies, risks, and critical paths.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, governance, and metrics to ensure delivery predictability.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including IP, design, verification, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and commercial partners.
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and resource constraints; drive mitigation strategies and escalate when needed.
  • Provide clear, data-driven status reporting to leadership and facilitate executive reviews and decision-making.
  • Partner with architecture, hardware, firmware, IT, finance, and operations to meet program objectives.
  • Support internal and external audits and continuously improve program management processes and tools.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • 8+ years in semiconductor IP, product, or process development.
  • 2–3+ years delivering complex programs in a program or technical project management role.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale, cross-functional engineering programs.
  • Strong execution focus with a track record of meeting commitments and driving outcomes.
  • Proficiency with program management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills; ability to influence across all levels.
  • Demonstrated success working in global, distributed teams.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience operating in a highly matrixed, global semiconductor environment.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related technical field is required. PMP or equivalent program management credential is preferred.
