Role Summary
Perform electrical failure analysis and fault isolation on advanced semiconductor devices to identify root causes and support product quality, reliability, and yield improvement at Fab 10N/X in Singapore.
Use diagnostic tools, layout/schematic analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to generate technical reports and drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include failure analysis, fault isolation, characterization, and reporting.
- Perform Electrical Failure Analysis (EFA) and fault isolation on semiconductor devices.
- Operate photon, thermal, and laser stimulating-emission tools such as Hamamatsu iPHEMOS and Thermo Fisher ELITE.
- Characterize and model probe test and internal qualification failure signatures.
- Use layout and schematics to support fault isolation and failure-signature modeling.
- Apply Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) and de-processing techniques as required.
- Understand fabrication process levels, steps, and package assembly relevant to failures.
- Generate organized, timely failure analysis reports that clearly communicate causes and impacts.
- Integrate AI-assisted tools and share AI-enabled improvements within scope of work.
