Engineer, TSE Probe Integration
Role Summary
As an Engineer on the TSE Probe Integration team you will deploy and improve probe test equipment and procedures across manufacturing sites, support equipment software and FOAK evaluations, and partner with site teams to raise process efficiency and equipment reliability. The role requires travel to support deployments and cross-site coordination.
Experience Level
Mid-level engineer β typical candidates have multiple years of hands-on probe equipment and manufacturing-support experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include equipment deployment, process improvement, and customer support.
- Evaluate, install, and deploy Probe FOAK TOR equipment across sites and close procedure/equipment gaps.
- Standardize and deploy best-known methods and improvements across sites.
- Partner with site HVM equipment teams for new process and technology implementation.
- Monitor process efficiency and OEE; identify improvements and recommend corrective actions.
- Support TOR equipment operating software, software releases, and diagnostics.
- Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve toolsets and operating methods.
- Lead and mentor site equipment owners; respond to HVM site requests and prioritize customer needs.
- Diagnose probe-area equipment issues and implement corrective solutions.
- Support 6S, safety, PPE, lockout and chemical safety, and ergonomic practices in lab areas.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required; participate in functional rotations.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; items marked as preferred are nice-to-have.
- Practical experience with manufacturing probe procedures and probe machinery.
- Experience operating probe test equipment; backend test equipment experience preferred.
- Understanding of equipment mechanical and electrical fundamentals, electronic circuits, and equipment reliability.
- Knowledge of equipment metrics such as utilization, OEE, MTTR, and MTBF.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and structured problem-solving tools (KTDA, Risk Assessment, FMEA).
- Proficiency in data analysis; experience with SharePoint list management and optimized SQL queries.
- Experience with data visualization tools or libraries (Tableau, Power BI) β preferred.
- Familiarity with probe program languages for memory device coding, SEC/GEM, GPIB, and information system communication protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to adopt AI, digital tools, and automation technologies; experience with AI-assisted analytics preferred.
- Experience with Python is beneficial; strong English communication skills required.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience and education; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
