Engineer, TSE Equipment Integration
Role Summary
Responsible for evaluation, installation, deployment and support of probe TOR (first-of-a-kind) equipment across manufacturing sites. Works with site equipment teams to implement process and technology changes, monitor equipment performance metrics, and deliver corrective improvements.
Supports software releases and automation initiatives, leverages data and AI tools to improve equipment uptime and process efficiency, and travels domestically or internationally as required.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include hands-on equipment integration, process improvement, and cross-site collaboration.
- Evaluate, install, fix, and deploy Probe FOAK TOR equipment across manufacturing sites.
- Develop and deploy best-known methods across sites; identify and close procedure gaps and equipment deficiencies.
- Partner with HVM site equipment teams to support new process and technology implementations.
- Monitor process efficiency and OEE; analyze MTTR/MTBF and recommend corrective actions.
- Support TOR equipment operating software and software release activities.
- Evaluate new technologies and FOAK equipment to improve toolsets and operating methods.
- Lead and mentor site equipment owners; prioritize and respond to site requests.
- Travel to domestic and international sites for deployments and critical projects; participate in functional rotations as needed.
- Adopt and apply AI-enabled tools and automation to improve troubleshooting and engineering workflows.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and practical experience required to perform the role.
Must have:
- Practical experience with manufacturing probe procedures and probe test machinery.
- Experience operating probe test equipment; familiarity with backend test equipment is beneficial.
- Understanding of equipment mechanical and electrical fundamentals (electronic circuits, infrastructure, mechanical functions, reliability).
- Knowledge of equipment metrics and benchmarks (utilization, OEE, MTTR, MTBF).
- Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills; proficiency with structured problem-solving tools (KTDA, Risk Assessment, FMEA).
- Good command of English and effective verbal/written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of probe processes, probe program languages for memory device coding, SEC/GEM, GPIB, and information-system communication protocols.
- Ability to work independently, lead process improvements, and travel as required for deployments.
Nice to have:
- Experience using AI-assisted analytics, reporting, or problem-solving tools; demonstrated ability to adopt AI and digital tools.
- Experience with SharePoint list management and writing optimized SQL queries.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and Python programming.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent education and/or practical experience.
