Engineer, TSE Equipment Integration
Role Summary
The Engineer, TSE Equipment Integration evaluates, deploys, and optimizes probe test equipment (including FOAK/TOR units) across manufacturing sites. The role supports equipment software and deployments, drives process and reliability improvements, partners with site teams on new process implementations, and uses AI-enabled tools and analytics to improve equipment performance.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include equipment evaluation, deployment, process improvement, and customer support across sites.
- Evaluate, install, repair, and deploy Probe FOAK TOR equipment across manufacturing sites.
- Develop and deploy best-known methods, close TOR procedure gaps, and implement equipment improvements.
- Partner with Probe HVM site equipment teams to support new process and technology implementations.
- Monitor process efficiency and OEE; identify improvement opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
- Support TOR equipment operating software and software release activities.
- Evaluate new technologies and FOAK equipment to improve toolsets and operating methods.
- Lead and mentor site equipment owners on SWAT projects and enable them to take responsibility for tasks.
- Respond to HVM site and external customer requests; diagnose probe-area equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required and adjust to functional rotations per business needs.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, analytics capabilities, and operational experience for successful performance.
- Practical experience with manufacturing probe procedures and probe test equipment operation.
- Strong understanding of equipment mechanical and electrical fundamentals (electronic circuits, mechanical functions, infrastructure, reliability).
- Knowledge of equipment metrics and benchmarks: utilization, OEE, MTTR, MTBF.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making; proficiency with structured problem-solving tools (FMEA, risk assessment, KTDA or equivalent).
- Proficiency in data analysis and using analytics to drive equipment/process improvements.
- Familiarity with probe program languages for memory device coding and communication protocols such as SECS/GEM and GPIB.
- Good command of English with effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead global business processes, prioritize tactical and strategic action items, and complete projects independently.
- Willingness to travel to support business-critical projects and deployments.
- Nice-to-have: familiarity with backend test equipment; experience with AI-assisted analytics/tools; SharePoint list management; optimized SQL queries; data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI); and Python.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent education and/or practical experience. The posting explicitly allows equivalent experience in place of a degree.
