Job Title

Engineer, Test Engineering - Product Development

Role Summary

Develop and validate test solutions for Analog Devices' Digital Healthcare product line (vital signs monitoring and PMIC). The role focuses on test circuit design, automated test systems, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to support medical and consumer wearable ICs.

Position is based in General Trias, Cavite, Philippines and reports to the Product Development/Test Engineering team.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Typical candidates have around 3+ years of relevant industry experience (see Education Requirements for degree/experience options).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include designing and implementing test solutions and automation for integrated circuits and systems.

  • Design test circuits and high-accuracy test solutions for IC verification and production testing.
  • Develop algorithms and software for automated test systems and data collection.
  • Design experiments, collect and analyze measurement data, and produce test reports.
  • Apply circuit theory and analog/mixed-signal principles to support next-generation IC development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (design, validation, manufacturing).
  • Maintain continuous learning and document test procedures and results.

Requirements

Expectations are split between must-have practical skills and preferred additional expertise.

Must-have:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across engineering disciplines to solve problems.
  • Ability to own and drive projects with minimal supervision.
  • Sound understanding of fundamental electronic devices and circuit theory.
  • Experience developing or using automated test systems (hardware and/or software).

Nice-to-have:

  • Programming experience for test automation and algorithm development (e.g., scripting, data analysis).
  • Component-level circuit design and debugging skills.
  • Analytical understanding of ADCs and analog front-end (AFE) fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with laboratory bench tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Willingness to travel for training (approximately 10% as required).

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field plus 3+ years of relevant industrial experience; alternatively, a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering (focus in analog/mixed-signal) with 2 years of relevant industry experience. Equivalent practical experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.
