Job Title

Test Development Engineer

Role Summary

The Test Development Engineer will design and develop test programs and test hardware for functional testing (wafer sorting) of SOC devices including memory, NVM, logic, mixed-signal and RF components. The role covers electrical characterization, transfer of test solutions into production, and collaboration with technology development, yield engineering and quality teams.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Develop test concepts, test hardware and test programs for functional testing of devices with memory, NVM, logic and mixed-signal/RF components.
  • Perform electrical characterization of NVM, memory, logic and mixed-signal/RF devices to support technology development, yield engineering and quality teams.
  • Install, correlate and release test programs and test hardware for production transfer.
  • Optimize yield and reduce test time through continuous improvement of the test process.
  • Create and maintain test project documentation.

Requirements

Must-have and beneficial skills:

  • Strong knowledge of electronic measurement methods.
  • Programming skills in one or more of: C, C++, Java, Python.
  • Very good written and spoken English.

Nice-to-have:

  • Professional experience with electrical test.
  • Experience in test hardware design (schematics, probe hardware preparation).
  • Knowledge of memory test procedures.

Education Requirements

Completed Master's degree or Diploma in information technology, communications engineering, electrical engineering, physics or a comparable field.
