Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include design, verification, and support of electronics and test equipment for semiconductor products and SSDs.
- Assess technology requirements, perform feasibility studies and decision analysis.
- Define design requirements and plan resources with cross-functional teams.
- Design and verify electronics and prototypes for semiconductor and SSD test equipment.
- Design PCBs and oversee board layout and artwork.
- Design digital circuits and logic (FPGA), and implement communication buses (PCIe) and memory interfaces (DDR).
- Perform signal and power integrity analysis and simulation (e.g., HyperLynx).
- Work with manufacturing and NPI teams to ensure DFM and DFT compliance.
- Debug and analyze electronics using lab instruments (oscilloscopes, meters, logic analyzers, probes, power supplies).
- Document designs, manage engineering changes and version control, and support prototype qualification and released designs.
Requirements

- Experience designing electronics for semiconductor test equipment or similar electronic systems.
- PCB design experience and familiarity with board layout oversight.
- Design and verification experience with digital logic and FPGAs; working knowledge of PCIe and DDR interfaces.
- Signal and power integrity analysis and simulation experience (HyperLynx or equivalent).
- Proficiency in debugging with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, probes, power supplies.
- Experience with SSD test equipment, including test development, debug, assembly, and operation.
- Ability to perform design of experiments and write technical reports focused on test equipment and PCIe-based systems.
- Experience working with manufacturing/NPI for DFM/DFT requirements and supporting product qualification.
- Familiarity with power-supply subsystem and analog circuit design is beneficial.
Education Requirements
