Lead end-to-end NAND product development programs, coordinating cross-functional teams (product engineering, fab, test, supply chain, design, and business units) to deliver NAND technologies from silicon through customer qualification.
Define and execute product development strategies, incorporate data-driven and AI-enabled insights to accelerate execution, and represent NAND engineering in program-level decision forums.
Experience Level
Senior. Micron specifies degree/experience equivalencies (see Education Requirements) indicating a senior individual contributor or technical leader with several years of product-development experience.
Responsibilities
Accountable for planning, coordinating, and delivering NAND product development milestones across organizations.
- Own NAND development schedules and execution; lead multi-functional development teams to meet timelines.
- Manage NAND deliverables and sample delivery schedules aligned with system development timelines.
- Drive system-level integration of NAND technology with design and firmware teams for SSD and customer applications.
- Build development schedules from pre-silicon planning through qualification and sample delivery.
- Represent Product Engineering in development reviews and cross-functional forums; align stakeholders and influence trade-offs.
- Ensure NAND technical constraints are addressed to enable parallel development and Build‑at‑Risk approaches.
- Lead complex problem solving across NAND-system interactions to maintain program momentum.
- Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into workflows to improve efficiency, automation, and decision-making.
Requirements
Key technical and interpersonal requirements. Degree requirements are summarized separately under Education Requirements.
- Must-have: Strong knowledge of NAND device/design and/or system firmware/design.
- Must-have: Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional product development and program execution.
- Must-have: Experience with or strong interest in AI-assisted engineering tools and platforms (e.g., Claude, Copilot) and ability to apply them to automation and problem solving.
- Must-have: Excellent complex problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication, and organizational ability to drive cross-functional alignment.
- Must-have: Self-motivated, able to work effectively in a diverse, global engineering environment.
- Nice-to-have: Prior experience leading NAND/product development projects, system-level SSD integration, or coordination with fab/assembly/test and supply-chain partners.
