Engineer, Product Engineering (Prod Dev)
Role Summary
Work in the DCE Product Engineering BU to drive new product evaluations, development, qualification activities, and ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable product releases. Partner with design, test, reliability, quality, failure analysis, assembly and fab engineers to resolve issues and improve product performance.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Evaluate product functionality and performance during development with Design and Test Engineering.
- Lead and coordinate product qualification with Reliability, Quality, Failure Analysis, Assembly and Fab teams.
- Own sustaining and post-release activities with Test Manufacturing Engineering; represent the BU on Material Review Board assessments and dispositions.
- Design and execute experiments (DOE), analyze results, and recommend corrective actions for product issues and improvements.
- Document findings, support cross-functional reviews, and ensure compliance with product requirements.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and professional behaviors:
- Proficiency in product testing, failure analysis, and debug techniques.
- Experience with statistical tools such as JMP and Exensio.
- Experience using Teradyne and Eagle testers and common bench equipment (oscilloscopes, source meters, signal generators).
- Strong project management, statistical analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% and work a first-shift/day schedule.
- Nice-to-have: programming experience in C++, C#, VB, or LabVIEW.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
