Role Summary

Primary engineer responsible for developing and maintaining reliability test programs for High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) device and package qualification. Works with cross-functional teams to validate hardware interfaces, analyze test data, diagnose root causes, and prioritize technical risk decisions.

Focus on improving product reliability and optimizing test infrastructure while mentoring colleagues and driving continuous process and quality improvements.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop, debug, and maintain reliability test programs for HBM device and package qualification to ensure full test coverage.
• Investigate, identify root causes, and resolve issues related to reliability test programs.
• Define interface hardware specifications and validate/debug new interface boards.
• Analyze engineering data using statistical tools for validation and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with Fab, HBM technology development, HBM design, system development, and quality/reliability teams.
• Promote innovation in reliability features, test infrastructure optimization, and process automation.
• Apply AI and data-driven methods to streamline workflows and support decision making.
• Make technical decisions on risk analysis and project prioritization.
• Mentor and develop team members and support project management activities.
• Identify system and process improvements to reduce cost and improve quality.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• Proficient in Python and C++ for test/program development and scripting.
• Strong problem-solving skills with emphasis on root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with CMOS technology, DRAM architecture, and basic device physics.
• Experience with data analysis and statistics; familiarity with tools such as Python or JMP.
• Knowledge of testing and verification approaches.
• Effective teamwork skills and clear technical communication.
• Ability to perform hardware, software, semiconductor design, or telecom engineering assignments as required.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
