Job Title
Engineer, Product Engineering (Media Health Reliability), Heterogeneous Integration - High Bandwidth Memory
Role Summary
Work on product reliability for High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) within heterogeneous integration at Fab 10A, Singapore. The role develops reliability test flows and qualification plans, drives defect and reliability reduction, performs root-cause analysis, and supports process conversions into high-volume manufacturing.
Experience Level
Mid-level. Specific years of experience not specified.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and develop reliability stress tests, test flows, and qualification test plans.
- Coordinate with Global Quality to manage qualification execution and resolve gating issues.
- Drive reduction of extrinsic and intrinsic reliability failures (DPM reduction) through optimized test strategy and manufacturing test flows.
- Perform root-cause analysis for reliability and RMA failures using electrical and physical failure analysis and drive corrective actions.
- Recommend and support process conversions to improve yield, cost, quality, reliability, and performance in HBM products.
- Manage risks with product leads and prioritize projects based on risk analysis.
- Promote technical improvements and mentor team members; support project management and decision making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Fab, HBM technology and design teams, system development, and quality/reliability groups.
Requirements
Required skills and attributes; listed as must-haves first and nice-to-haves last.
- Must-have: Solid problem-solving skills with focus on root-cause identification and solution exploration.
- Must-have: Familiarity with CMOS technology, DRAM architecture, and basic device physics.
- Must-have: Experience with data analysis, statistics, and scripting tools (e.g., Python, JMP).
- Must-have: Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and effective communication of technical findings.
- Must-have: Ability to work effectively on cross-functional, team-based projects.
- Nice-to-have: Experience in semiconductor devices, circuit design, or product validation.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with electrical failure analysis (EFA) and physical failure analysis (PFA).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.
