Engineer, Product Applications - Automotive Serial Links
Role Summary
Support Analog Devices' GMSL (Gigabit Multimedia Serial Links) product line by providing product applications engineering for automotive ADAS (camera) and infotainment (display) systems. Work with global OEMs and Tier-1s to validate designs, characterize devices in the lab, and support product introductions and customer deployments.
The role is based at the Istanbul office with primary on-site expectations and some work-from-home flexibility.

Responsibilities
Principal responsibilities include device evaluation, customer support, and design verification.
- Become a product expert in high-speed automotive serial links (GMSL).
- Perform lab evaluation and characterization of new ICs; collect measurements and develop automation software for bench tests.
- Provide technical applications support to customers, field teams, and design engineers; advise on architectures and troubleshoot issues.
- Design, layout, build, and test application and demonstration boards to validate products and showcase features.
- Author application notes, user guides, evaluation kit documentation, and technical articles.
- Collaborate with business managers and global field teams to support design wins and customer engagements.
- Travel domestically and internationally for customer support, training, and demonstrations (approximately 10%).
Requirements

Must-have: Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics; excellent verbal and written communication; experience with PCB design/layout and system/hardware debugging; self-motivated and able to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-have: Experience with high-speed serial links and common serial protocols (I2C, UART, SPI, I2S, RMII/RGMII/SGMII).
