Responsibilities
Core accountabilities include defining global DL4 standards, improving detection and disposition automation, and collaborating across product, test, and quality teams.
- Define global DL4 matrices (turnaround time, overdue metrics, detection compliance, Statistical Bin Limits reactions, etc.).
- Ensure consistent DL4 workflows and signal behavior across sites.
- Drive automation and AI enhancements for detection and disposition (YIT, auto-contain, auto-disposition, SMAI-assisted detection).
- Monitor and maintain assembly and test specifications; review and release test programs.
- Improve existing DL4 systems through automation and optimization.
- Define and manage spec limits (analog values/limits, SBL bins, product-level ESD) and test coverage improvements.
- Perform failure-mode reviews, failure analysis modeling, and defense-line correlations.
- Standardize network dispositions and problem handling across sites.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering, Media Health, Global Quality, Advanced Packaging Technology Development, and Test Systems Engineering to drive DL4 projects.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and abilities to perform the responsibilities listed.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics.
- Experience with device modelling and simulation using TCAD tools (Silvaco, Sentaurus, etc.) and compact modelling.
- Proficiency in circuit-level analog analysis and validation using tools such as HSPICE.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze electrical test data and perform rigorous root-cause analysis for device and package failures.
- Experience with failure analysis, failure analysis modelling, and correlating failure modes to DL4 signals.
- Hands-on experience with data analytics, scripting, and statistical modeling (Python, MATLAB, JMP, SQL).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams.
Education Requirements
M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Physics, Materials, or a related field; project experience in the semiconductor industry. Preferably experience related to packaging, test, and reliability.
