Engineer, NAND Product Engineering
Role Summary
Product Engineer supporting the NAND Product Development team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, fabrication, test, supply chain, business units) to drive NAND product development and ensure timely product qualification from silicon to system.
The role includes developing and integrating AI-enabled workflows to automate data extraction, analysis, and program management to improve time-to-market for new NAND technologies.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on translating product requirements into engineering specifications, coordinating cross-functional execution, and applying AI workflows to accelerate development.
- Convert NAND and SSD product requirements into qualification specifications and development plans.
- Design and implement AI workflows to automate data extraction, analysis, and reporting for NAND specifications.
- Coordinate integration of NAND with Technology Development and Design Engineering for system enablement.
- Collaborate with supply chain, fabrication, assembly, test, and business units to manage engineering execution and timelines.
- Develop AI-embedded program management tools to track priorities, actions, and qualification progress.
- Represent Product Engineering in reviews, lead cross-functional meetings, and drive decisions to deliver NAND component solutions.
- Organize capability and data reviews to advance system development toward customer qualification samples.
- Investigate and resolve complex NAND-system interaction issues; guide technical resolution.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, collaboration abilities, and problem-solving capabilities for immediate contribution.
- Proven experience developing agentic AI solutions using industry models and platforms (for example: Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot).
- Experience building AI workflows to automate data extraction, analysis, and model-driven decision support.
- Advanced coding skills and practical data-science ability to implement and maintain AI-enabled tools and pipelines.
- Working knowledge of NAND design/device characteristics, validation and test flows, reliability, and failure analysis.
- Experience or strong interest in NAND integration into SSD systems, media-management algorithms, and system architecture.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and manage schedules to meet qualification milestones.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills; self-motivated and able to work in a global engineering environment.
- Nice to have: prior experience with product qualification processes, supply-chain interactions, or silicon fabrication environments.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline. Transcript or equivalent documentation should show coursework in AI model fundamentals, data science, and advanced coding skills.
