Engineer II, Test Engineering - Product Development
Analog DevicesJob Title
Engineer II, Test Engineering - Product Development
Role Summary
Develop and implement automated test solutions, test hardware, and validation methodologies for data-center power semiconductor products across the product development lifecycle.
Collaborate with design, product, systems, applications, and manufacturing teams to ensure product performance, quality, and manufacturability and to support successful product releases.
Experience Level
Mid-level (Engineer II). 2β5 years of relevant experience in test engineering, product engineering, semiconductor development, or a related field.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include test solution and hardware design, product characterization, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination.
- Design, develop, and validate test plans, automated test programs, and hardware for new semiconductor products.
- Create automated production and characterization test solutions on ATE platforms.
- Design evaluation boards, load boards, interface hardware, and test fixtures; coordinate PCB fabrication, assembly, and qualification.
- Execute characterization and correlation activities; analyze electrical parameters across operating conditions and manufacturing variations.
- Partner with IC design teams to improve testability (DfT, BIST) and optimize test coverage and cost.
- Analyze test results to identify trends, yield excursions, and root causes; debug hardware, software, and silicon-related failures.
- Maintain test documentation, procedures, and engineering standards; drive improvements in test coverage, test time, and hardware reliability.
- Participate in technical reviews and global project milestone planning.
Requirements
