Role Summary

The Engineer I, Manufacturing Test Engineering supports development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing test systems used in semiconductor production. The role partners with manufacturing, product engineering, equipment engineering, automation teams, and operators to ensure reliable test performance and high equipment uptime.

This is an entry-level engineering role focused on practical test-system support and productivity improvements for production test operations.

Experience Level

Entry-level (Graduate). Suitable for recent graduates or engineers with limited professional experience.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Support development, installation, validation, and maintenance of manufacturing test systems.
  • Troubleshoot test hardware, instrumentation, and software to restore or improve test performance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, product, equipment, automation) to resolve production issues and implement productivity improvements.
  • Monitor equipment uptime and identify opportunities for reliability improvements and preventative maintenance.
  • Document test procedures, changes, and problem resolutions for manufacturing teams.

  • Nice-to-have: Experience with scripting or test automation tools (for example, Python, LabVIEW) and familiarity with semiconductor test processes.
  • No travel required for this role.
