Role Summary

Work on design and verification of digital IPs, CPUs, subsystems and peripherals across VLSI domains (logic design, verification, physical design, software and emulation). Implement scalable, configurable RTL and verification testbenches and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver silicon-ready designs.

Experience Level

Entry-level — approximately 1+ years of relevant engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Design and verify digital IP blocks, CPUs, subsystems and peripherals using HDL.
• Develop scalable, configurable RTL and verification testbenches.
• Collaborate with physical design, software and emulation teams to integrate and validate designs.
• Debug functional and integration issues using simulation and verification tools.
• Document designs, test plans and verification results; participate in design reviews.

Requirements

Key qualifications and skills.

• Must-have: ~1+ years of relevant experience in digital design or verification; solid understanding of digital electronics and VLSI concepts.
• Must-have: Hands-on experience with one or more HDLs: Verilog, SystemVerilog or VHDL.
• Must-have: Knowledge of verification methodologies and testbench development.
• Must-have: Good programming or scripting skills (C/C++, Python, Perl, or Tcl) for tooling and test automation.
• Must-have: Strong problem-solving, communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with computer architecture, circuit design, semiconductor device concepts, emulation, Haskell or other functional languages.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (for example Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline) as stated in the posting. The role expects approximately 1+ years of relevant practical experience.
