Engineer - HBM Verification

Role Summary

Responsible for pre-silicon verification and end-to-end analysis of HBM and emerging memory architectures. The role owns verification flows, develops testbenches and stimulus, runs regressions, and collaborates with international design and verification teams.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Early career — typically requires 2+ years of pre-silicon verification experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and direct verification effort within assigned areas and set technical direction for projects.
• Simulate, analyze, and debug pre-silicon full-chip designs, focusing on HBM and emerging memory features.
• Develop test cases and stimulus to improve functional coverage for HBM architectures.
• Create and maintain verification environments, testbenches, and test vectors; run regression suites and perform coverage analysis.
• Collaborate with international colleagues to develop verification methodology and new verification flows.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications and technical skills:

• 2+ years of experience in pre-silicon verification.
• Proficiency in establishing and simulating verification environments.
• Strong understanding of digital circuits, simulation, troubleshooting, and evaluation.
• Experience developing test cases/stimuli to increase functional coverage.
• Demonstrated ability to guide and direct verification efforts within areas of expertise.

Preferred qualifications:

• High-level understanding of UVM.
• Knowledge of DFT features, including custom DFT and standard scan chains.
• Exposure to critical timing and datapath timing analysis.
• Experience owning verification and end-to-end analysis of complex full-chip designs with power, performance, and bandwidth considerations.
• Experience applying AI for automation of technical and non-technical processes.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Master of Technology (MTech) in Electronics Engineering or a related field as specified in the posting.
