Engineer — DRAM Design & Evaluation (Disability hiring)

Role Summary

Work on DRAM design, layout, testing and evaluation at Micron's Hashimoto Technology Center. The role focuses on one of: circuit design development, physical design/layout using EDA tools, or wafer/chip functional and performance evaluation; provide feedback to design and process teams. Micron provides onboarding and training; this opening is targeted to applicants with a registered disability.

Responsibilities

Primary duties depend on assignment; work will be aligned to abilities with related tasks as needed.

  • Develop circuit technology for next-generation DRAM to improve density, speed, power and reliability.
  • Perform physical design/layout using design tools to place devices and route interconnects for IC implementation.
  • Evaluate prototype wafers and chips with dedicated test equipment for functionality, speed, power and voltage characteristics; report results and recommend improvements.
  • Provide feedback to process and design teams to meet product and customer requirements.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders by phone and email; accommodations available for hearing impairments.
  • Follow company procedures and participate in assigned training and practical assessments as part of the selection and onboarding process.
  • Work schedule: day shift 08:30–17:15.
