Role Summary

Develop verification testbenches and environments for new digital, analog, and mixed-signal products prior to tape-out. Build metric-driven verification flows, perform code-coverage analysis, and ensure design reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain verification testbenches and automation for digital, analog, and mixed-signal designs.
  • Support EDA tools, design flows, and engineering infrastructure; manage tool environments, users, projects, and configurations.
  • Troubleshoot tool performance issues, simulation failures, and flow errors; support regression, coverage, and debug flows.
  • Write and maintain automation scripts (Python/Perl/Shell/TCL) and technical documentation/knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with design, DV, and IT teams to improve flow efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

  • Strong understanding of VLSI design and verification flows.
  • Proficient with Linux and scripting (Python, Perl, Shell, TCL).
  • Experience with EDA tools for simulation, debug, and flow orchestration.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git or Perforce).
  • Good debugging and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work with moderate supervision and collaborate across teams.

Nice-to-have:

  • Familiarity with DV methodologies and verification tools.
  • Understanding of physical design and verification.

Education Requirements

M.Tech or B.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field preferred; or equivalent practical experience.
