Responsibilities
Deliver electrical failure analysis and fault isolation to support product qualification and manufacturing ramp.
- Perform electrical device characterization to determine electrical failure mechanisms.
- Operate fault isolation equipment to localize failure defect locations.
- Formulate hypotheses for electrical/process failure mechanisms using electrical models and physical FA data.
- Collaborate with frontend/backend process teams, Product Engineering, Test, and Global Quality to resolve defectivity issues.
- Prepare and present electrical and physical failure analysis findings on a regular basis to drive corrective actions.
- Develop and implement new FI and physical FA techniques and maintain high tool uptime.
- Integrate AI-assisted tools and data analytics into workflows to improve efficiency and quality, following organizational and legal standards.
Requirements
Core expectations and desirable skills.
- Proven team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; able to present complex technical information to large groups.
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and focused on technical execution and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to participate in planned shift rotations to support critical qualifications and manufacturing events.
- Knowledge of fault isolation equipment, techniques, and physical failure analysis is a significant advantage (nice-to-have).
- Familiarity with NAND/DRAM/HBM device architectures and fab processes is desirable (nice-to-have).
- Experience or strong interest in AI, machine learning, data analytics, or automation applied to semiconductor FA/yield is highly desirable (nice-to-have).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Electrical, Microelectronics, or Data Science.
