Job Title
Engineer, Agentic Solutions
Role Summary
Design and prototype LLM-powered agents and agentic workflows that integrate with engineering and manufacturing systems. Deliver scalable tools to improve productivity and quality for product, design, process, and test engineering teams.
Experience Level
Mid-level (no specific years of experience stated).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Prototype agentic workflows for engineering use cases (e.g., specification interpretation, design/verification assistance, test-log triage).
- Build intelligent agents with planning, tool-use, memory, and reflection using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
- Integrate agents with enterprise tools (APIs, databases, EDA/modeling environments, internal platforms) to enable end-to-end task execution.
- Participate in model evaluation at prompt and system levels and iterate via feedback loops (prompt tuning, RLHF where appropriate).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with process, design, product, test engineers, and data scientists to convert problems into prototypes.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred technical qualifications.
-
Must-have: Strong foundation in Python and modern ML/LLM toolchains; experience working with engineering or manufacturing datasets.
-
Must-have: Understanding of ML fundamentals (supervised, unsupervised, semi-supervised), data preparation, and basic model evaluation.
-
Must-have: Ability to extract and prepare data from common enterprise sources (APIs, databases, logs).
-
Must-have: Clear written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across levels and disciplines.
Nice-to-have:
- Exposure to LLM and RAG concepts and demonstrated interest in agentic workflows.
- Hands-on academic or project experience building agents or LLM-powered applications.
- Practical experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
- Familiarity with prompt tuning, evaluation loops, or RLHF techniques.
- Experience integrating with APIs, databases, or EDA/modeling environments.
Education Requirements
B.Tech, M.S., or M.Tech in Data Science, Statistics, AI, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering/ECE, Engineering Physics, Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgy, or Material Science (as listed in the posting).
