Emulation Infra Engineer
Role Summary
Develop and maintain infrastructure for emulation and prototyping to accelerate SoC bring-up and verification. Work with SoC/IP teams, EDA vendors, and methodology peers to improve flows, performance tracking, and FPGA-based platforms.

Responsibilities
The role focuses on building and improving infrastructure and operational flows for emulation and prototyping.
- Design and implement infrastructure to improve emulation and prototyping efficiency.
- Collaborate with EDA vendors to define and apply best practices and optimal flows.
- Measure and optimize emulator workload execution performance and throughput.
- Evaluate, implement, and maintain FPGA-based technologies and platforms.
- Collect, analyze, and act on emulation data to improve processes and tooling.
- Contribute to development and improvement of testbenches and verification infrastructure.
- Work cross-functionally with SoC/IP teams and infrastructure peers to deploy methodology improvements.
Requirements
Key technical skills and practical experience expected for the role (posting lists these as preferred experience):
- Experience with emulation or prototyping flows and infrastructure.
- Programming and scripting: Python, Perl, C/C++, Unix shell.
- Hardware description and verification: Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM.
- Strong Unix proficiency; administrative-level Unix experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with source control and CI tools: Perforce, Git, Jenkins.
- Knowledge of data/observability tooling and reporting: ELK, PowerBI, SQL is a plus.
- Experience with VHDL is useful but not required.
- Good communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
