Experience Level

Entry-level internship intended for final-year undergraduate or master's students. Candidates should be available at least 30 hours per week and have some prior lab or coursework experience; 3+ months of relevant practical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Work on electrical validation tasks in a laboratory environment, following engineering processes and safety standards.

  • Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and system troubleshooting.
  • Execute electrical validation test plans for silicon verification.
  • Collect and analyze measurements using oscilloscopes, bit error rate testers, multimeters, power supplies, and related instrumentation.
  • Support platform enablement, thermal configuration, and firmware updates.
  • Maintain equipment calibration records and follow quality and safety guidelines.
  • Support development and enhancement of test automation and handler automation frameworks.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications and must-have skills for initial consideration. Preferred items are listed after must-haves.

  • Must-have: 3+ months of practical experience in electrical engineering (digital and analog), obtained via internships, projects, or coursework.
  • Must-have: Programming experience in Python or C++ for test automation or data analysis.
  • Must-have: Advanced English proficiency.
  • Must-have: Unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (no visa sponsorship available).

  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with computer architecture concepts.
  • Nice-to-have: Prior hands-on use of lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, probes, multimeters, power supplies).
  • Nice-to-have: Ability to read and interpret electronic component datasheets; familiarity with AI tools is a plus.

Education Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline; final-year or senior-level students are targeted. Equivalent practical experience through internships, projects, or industry work is acceptable.
