Electrical Manufacturing Design Engineer
Role Summary
Design and manufacturing engineering lead for camera, image sensor and PCBA subsystems in new product introductions (NPI) and production. Owns manufacturing test strategy, failure analysis, supplier development and cross-functional coordination to improve manufacturing, testing, and assembly.

Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include technical ownership of camera subsystems through NPI and production, driving quality and supplier improvements, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Provide manufacturing engineering support for cameras, sensors and PCB assemblies in assembly and test production; act as technical owner for camera issues on tool builds.
- Lead failure analysis for internal and field issues, support EOL supplier investigations, and drive reliability improvement projects.
- Manage engineering change orders (ECOs) and maintain test data and specifications in the quality database.
- Serve as manufacturing representative in design reviews and New Product Development teams; collaborate closely with design engineering.
- Define and establish new test strategies and tooling for bringing cameras into production.
- Lead and coordinate multi-functional teams supporting a camera subsystem in a matrixed environment.
- Prepare and present technical and project status to management in reports and reviews.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience, plus a few nice-to-have items.

Must-have: Practical knowledge of cameras, image sensors, and printed circuit boards (PCBs) and experience with electrical subsystem testing.

Must-have: Experience with schematic capture tools, specifically OrCAD.

Must-have: Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes and other electrical test equipment.

Must-have: Experience performing failure analysis, driving reliability improvements, and working with suppliers to resolve PCBA issues.

Must-have: Experience managing ECOs and maintaining test data/specifications in quality systems.

Nice-to-have: LabVIEW test development experience.
