Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and hands-on engineering to design, implement, and deliver high-performance system software.

• Design, implement, and optimize C++ code for performance-sensitive applications and benchmarks.
• Develop and maintain concurrent, multithreaded software using modern threading APIs.
• Perform Linux system-level development, debugging, and profiling.
• Use development tools such as debuggers, profilers, and Git-based source control to diagnose and improve software.
• Plan and drive delivery of complex software projects, including scheduling, risk management, and meeting quality targets.
• Mentor and lead engineers; coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and demonstrated leadership in software engineering.

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong object-oriented C++ programming skills and experience with large design-patterns–based codebases.
• Experience with concurrency, multithreading, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience developing on Linux and using system-level debugging tools.
• Proven track record of planning and delivering complex system software products on time with high quality.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to lead multiple projects and prioritize competing work.
• Familiarity with development tools and processes (GitHub, debuggers, profilers) is a plus.
• Background in EDA tools is preferred.

Education Requirements

BS / B.E / B.Tech or MS / M.E in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field. The posting specifies these degrees in combination with 12+ years of software development experience.
