Position is based in Barcelona and is open only to candidates with legal authorization to work in Spain.

Experience Level

Entry-level (2+ years of relevant experience). The role expects practical experience in RF/microwave/electromagnetics or equivalent advanced education.

Responsibilities

Primary day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Support design teams using EM simulation tools (setup, meshing, convergence, and result interpretation).
  • Troubleshoot modeling and tool-related issues; investigate simulation anomalies and bugs.
  • Work with EDA vendors and internal teams to resolve software problems and improve workflows.
  • Maintain simulation environments, manage software releases, and support computing resources.
  • Execute EM simulations using available HPC or compute infrastructure.
  • Provide training and best-practice guidance to users of EM tools.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; concise list.

  • 2+ years of experience (or equivalent advanced education/experience) in RF, microwave, electromagnetics, or simulation engineering.
  • Understanding of electromagnetic theory, RF fundamentals, and numerical simulation methods.
  • Hands-on experience with Ansys HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, or similar EM simulation tools.
  • Exposure to RFIC, MMIC, package, antenna, or RF module development processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-have:

  • Familiarity with Linux and high-performance computing environments.
  • Basic Python scripting experience for automation or workflow integration.
  • Experience supporting or troubleshooting engineering software applications.
