Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include methodology development, customer consulting, and EDM/cloud optimization.

• Develop and implement PCB design methodologies and workflows for the Xpedition tool suite.
• Consult with customers to identify workflow gaps and recommend solutions to improve design performance.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to expand Xpedition adoption and customize enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot and optimize enterprise data management (EDM) deployments, including cloud-based environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred skills listed separately.

• Must-have: Hands-on experience with PCB hardware development methodology and Siemens EDA Xpedition tools.
• Must-have: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, VBScript) and sound software development practices.
• Must-have: Experience with enterprise data management (EDM) design, library methodology, and design flows.
• Must-have: Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, database administration/optimization, and networking concepts.
• Must-have: Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with CLS-generated applications for enterprise customization and advanced EDM performance tuning.
• Nice-to-have: Prior customer-facing consulting or formal mentoring experience in EDA/PCB tool environments.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
