DRAM Product Test Engineer

Role Summary

Develop, debug, and maintain test programs and associated tooling to validate Micron DRAM products. The role supports device health, high-speed interface validation, and system-level application testing to enable product qualification and release.

Work with cross-functional teams to apply data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve test efficiency, debug effectiveness, and data-driven insight generation.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include designing and operating programmatic test solutions for DRAM devices and improving the test ecosystem.

  • Develop, debug, and maintain automated test programs and frameworks for DRAM validation.
  • Diagnose device and test-system issues; perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Validate memory cell health, and/or implement high-speed interface and system-level tests.
  • Apply data analytics and automation to accelerate insight generation and reduce test cycles.
  • Integrate software and hardware tools; collaborate with design, manufacturing, and validation teams.
  • Document test methods, results, and recommendations for product qualification.

Requirements

  • Must-have: Strong engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills relevant to hardware validation and test development.
  • Must-have: Experience developing and debugging automated test programs or test frameworks; familiarity with software tooling and scripting or programming for test automation.
  • Must-have: Experience applying data analytics, automation, or AI-enabled tools to testing, debugging, or decision support.
  • Must-have: Ability to work with hardware-test equipment and integrate software/hardware workflows; effective cross-functional communication.
  • Nice-to-have: Prior experience with DRAM, memory device validation, high-speed interfaces, or system-level application testing.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with statistical analysis, machine-learning-assisted analysis, or large-scale test-data systems.
