Role Summary

Micron’s Technology and Products Group seeks a DRAM Product Engineer to support DRAM product development, qualification, and high-volume manufacturing ramp. The role coordinates design, process, manufacturing, and quality to meet performance, yield, reliability, and cost targets.

The engineer will apply Artificial Intelligence and data analysis to product bring-up, yield learning, electrical characterization, and failure analysis, working with global multifunctional teams to ensure product readiness and sustained manufacturing performance.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support product bring-up from first silicon through qualification; implement electrical characterization and validation against specifications.
  • Analyze parametric data to identify design or process sensitivities.
  • Monitor yield; identify systematic and random yield limiters; drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Support failure analysis and debug; correlate test, fab, and design data to isolate failure mechanisms.
  • Support manufacturing ramp and sustainment at global sites; identify and mitigate risks to output, cycle time, and cost.
  • Collaborate with design, process integration, test, quality, and reliability teams to optimize product performance and screening strategies.
  • Maintain documentation and present technical updates; drive data-driven decisions using large datasets from fab, test, and product systems.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

  • Proven ability to leverage AI-assisted tools for engineering analysis, automation, troubleshooting, and documentation, with appropriate validation and data-security practices.
  • Experience with enterprise security technologies, controls, and operational security practices relevant to engineering tools and data.
  • Hands-on familiarity with endpoint, firewall, proxy, and related enterprise security solutions.
  • Experience in security research, threat analysis, and designing effective security architectures and solutions.
  • Ability to develop technical requirements, implementation plans, and drive cross-functional security initiatives.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience developing secure systems and firmware.
  • Prior experience in high-tech or semiconductor manufacturing environments.
  • Industry-recognized security certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+).
