DRAM Design Validation Engineer
Role Summary
The Validation Engineer will plan, execute, and analyze silicon validation tests for DRAM-based compute products. The role works within a multi‑functional engineering team to verify functionality, quality, and reliability of silicon and to expand validation coverage.
Experience Level
Entry-level; approximately 2 years of confirmed experience in validation, testing, or silicon bring‑up is expected.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on preparing and running silicon validation, analyzing results, and collaborating with design teams to resolve issues.
- Prepare and implement validation tests and hardware setups for silicon testing.
- Execute silicon tests and analyze results for correctness, completeness, and coverage.
- Identify, categorize, and document silicon issues clearly and systematically.
- Support investigation of functional and margin‑related test results and root‑cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Design and Validation teams to address software and hardware limitations during validation.
- Communicate validation findings to stakeholders and recommend improvements to validation scope and procedures.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.

- Knowledge of DRAM architecture and functionality.
- Experience with Python-based validation scripts or test automation.
- Familiarity with validation environments, coverage concepts, lab or tester equipment.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
