DMTS, DRAM Architecture

Role Summary

Senior technical leader responsible for defining end-to-end DRAM system architectures and long-term memory technology direction. Works across silicon, packaging, modules, boards, and systems to translate system requirements into silicon and influence industry standards.

Partners with customers, executives, and engineering teams to deliver production-ready architectural innovations and applies AI to improve design productivity and decision-making.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include architecture definition, strategy, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Define next-generation DRAM system architectures across performance, capacity, RAS, and telemetry.
  • Lead cross-stack co-optimization across silicon, package, module, board, and system.
  • Architect advanced RAS and telemetry features and translate system requirements into silicon.
  • Drive long-range memory technology strategy and influence industry standards.
  • Serve as a senior technical interface to customers, executives, and partners.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.

  • Extensive hands-on experience in DRAM or memory systems architecture.
  • Deep understanding of DRAM timing, signaling, power, and reliability mechanisms.
  • Proven ability to translate system requirements into silicon architecture.
  • Experience applying AI or large language models to improve engineering efficiency.
  • Nice-to-have: recognized technical leadership across multiple products or teams; experience engaging tier‑1 customers and ecosystem partners; history of architectural innovations adopted into production.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), Computer Science (CS), or a related technical field. Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in a related technical field. "Equivalent practical experience" is explicitly accepted.
