Role Summary

Responsible for electrical design of mobile display modules across the full product lifecycle — from concept and prototypes to manufacturing and mass production. The role leads module electrical architecture (including custom silicon and IP definition), validation planning, vendor management, and cross-functional technical integration.

Responsibilities

Key duties include:

• Define and drive display module electrical design requirements throughout concept, prototyping, validation, and mass production.
• Develop module electrical architecture, including interfaces to custom silicon and IP.
• Create and execute comprehensive validation, test, and qualification plans.
• Collaborate with internal teams (HW, FW, SW, mechanical/thermal, optical) and manage external vendors and manufacturing partners.
• Perform design reviews, support PCB-level analysis (PDN, SI/PI, crosstalk) and address EMI/EMC considerations.
• Support transfer to production and ongoing quality/reliability improvements.

• Must-have: Experience with coding or scripting using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
• Preferred / Nice-to-have: Experience with module or system design and architecture focused on defining detailed electrical specifications.
• Preferred: Experience in analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuit design and power electronics (DC-DC converters, PMICs, low-power design).
• Preferred: Experience with PCB simulation and analysis for PDN, signal/power integrity, and EMI/EMC.
• Preferred: Experience with display technologies (OLED, LCD, e-paper/TFT) and semiconductor/IP integration.
• Preferred: Experience working with multidisciplinary cross-functional teams on hardware designs.
• Preferred: Ability to travel internationally up to 10%.

Education Requirements

Minimum requirement: Bachelor's degree. Preferred: MS or PhD in electrical engineering–focused areas such as IC design, RF/wireless, power electronics, system design, semiconductors, FPGAs, or TFT/display-related fields.
