Job Title

Director, Test Solutions Engineering Manager (West Coast Region)

Role Summary

Lead and build a regional Test Solutions Engineering (TSE) team for Marvell's West Coast region to support ATE-based production test development and high-volume manufacturing readiness for custom data-center ASICs. The role combines people management, program leadership across NPI and production ramp, and cross-functional customer engagement.

Experience Level

Senior — typically 10–15 years of relevant industry experience in ASIC/product engineering, test, DFT, or technology characterization.

Responsibilities

The manager will establish and run a regional TSE function, own program-level test strategy, and ensure production readiness and quality.

  • Build, hire, onboard, and develop the West Coast TSE team; provide coaching, performance management, and career development.
  • Define team structure, workflows, and technical best practices to align with global TSE operations.
  • Lead end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) for assigned programs through production ramp.
  • Own test strategy, architecture, silicon bring-up, debug, and characterization to validate production test coverage.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with design, DFT, product and test engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
  • Act as primary technical and managerial customer interface for test strategy and issue resolution.
  • Support reliability qualifications, failure analysis, and corrective actions; lead continuous improvement for yield and test cost.

Requirements

Core technical and leadership criteria for immediate consideration.

  • 10–15 years of experience in custom processor/ASIC product engineering, test engineering, DFT, or technology characterization.
  • Proven experience managing or leading engineering teams, preferably across geographies.
  • Strong technical knowledge of product engineering and test development, DFT methodologies, semiconductor devices and process technology, and quality/reliability practices.
  • Track record of leading complex technical programs and driving cross-functional execution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and customer-facing experience.
  • Preferred: experience hiring and scaling teams, supporting hyperscale/large enterprise customers, and working with global/distributed engineering organizations.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Master's or PhD in EE/CS is listed as preferred.

Compensation

Expected base pay range (USD): 185,390 - 277,700 per year.
