Job Title
Director, SW Product Management
Role Summary
Lead software platform and ecosystem enablement for next-generation Arm technologies, focusing on platform software, firmware, OS enablement, and reference platforms to drive partner adoption.
This role operates across engineering, product, OEMs, silicon partners, and ecosystem teams to define software requirements, prioritise enablement, and ensure platform and software readiness for customer engagement and productisation.
Experience Level
Senior (Director-level). Years of experience not specified in the posting.
Responsibilities
Drive strategy, alignment, and execution to validate Arm technologies in software environments and enable adoption across partners and customers.
- Define and lead platform software, firmware, and reference build enablement strategy for Mobile and consumer compute platforms.
- Engage directly with customers, OEMs, and silicon partners to gather requirements and feedback, and translate them into software priorities.
- Align downstream validation (simulation, emulation, FPGA, testchip) with upstream ecosystem readiness across firmware, OS, and tooling.
- Ensure features are supported in key software stacks and release cycles, including Android, Linux, and Windows variants.
- Drive platform bring-up and feature validation across pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
- Establish traceability from architecture intent to platform implementation, validation outcomes, and ecosystem preparedness.
- Build cross-team operating models to reduce ambiguity and delivery risk between downstream validation and upstream enablement.
- Prioritise features, trade-offs, and release timelines while representing software readiness to senior leadership and partners.
- Scale and lead teams for reference platform and firmware/platform enablement.

Key qualifications required to perform in this role; preferred skills follow.
-
Must-have: Proven software product leadership experience in platform software or ecosystem enablement in customer-facing settings.
-
Must-have: Strong technical understanding of system software, firmware, platform bring-up, and OS enablement.
-
Must-have: Experience defining and executing strategy that bridges early technology validation and productisation.
-
Must-have: Ability to translate technical capabilities into partner value, concrete requirements, and implementation plans.
