Director, Product Management — ICV PERC Established Nodes Product Strategies
Role Summary
Lead product strategy for Synopsys ICV PERC (Programmable Electrical Rule Checking) focused on established process nodes and their interaction with advanced nodes. Build and influence a product team, align R&D and sales, and drive adoption of PERC solutions across foundries, fabless companies, and IP providers in the 3D and chiplet ecosystem.
Experience Level
Senior — typically 15+ years of relevant EDA/semiconductor product management and marketing experience.
Responsibilities
Support strategy, product definition, and cross-functional execution for ICV PERC established-node offerings.
- Define and execute product strategies that align established-node PERC with advanced-node roadmaps and Synopsys ICV business objectives.
- Serve as the established-node PERC visionary and drive organizational formation and growth for this focus area.
- Coordinate with product management, R&D, and sales to translate market needs into product requirements and go-to-market plans.
- Coach and train technical sales on PERC market needs and lead customer benchmarking activities that generate business.
- Advise R&D on negotiating and interpreting Foundry PERC design rule manuals to enable efficient ICV design kits.
- Develop partnerships and collaborative initiatives that yield differentiated PERC solutions for the market.
- Represent Synopsys in industry engagements and presentations to strengthen thought leadership in the 3D/chiplet established-node space.
Requirements
Key must-have skills and attributes for immediate impact.
- 15+ years of product management and marketing experience in EDA or the semiconductor industry.
- Deep knowledge of the semiconductor ecosystem and practical experience with Foundry PERC design rule manuals and related workflows.
- Proven track record influencing senior management and building product teams that support sales, R&D, and global customers.
- Established relationships within PERC organizations at leading semiconductor companies and the ability to evangelize PERC for established nodes.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently on high-impact projects and to lead cross-functional initiatives under time pressure.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer and sales engagement.
Education Requirements
BS in Electrical Engineering and/or Device Physics required. MS in a related field is desired.
