Role Summary
Lead the Solutions Engineering CAD team to develop floor-planning, power delivery network (PDN) and implementation methodologies for SoC and multi-die systems at advanced technology nodes.
Collaborate with architecture, RTL, IP, physical design, package/board teams, foundries and EDA partners to deliver scalable automation, power integrity, thermal-aware implementation, and PPA optimizations.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include methodology and automation development, technical leadership, and cross-team collaboration to enable advanced-node SoC and multi-die implementations.
- Develop and drive advanced SoC floor-planning methodologies for hierarchical and multi-die designs.
- Define and optimize PDN implementation including IR/EM-aware planning and power integrity optimization.
- Build scalable automation for top-level floor-planning, power mesh and clocking, hierarchical subsystems, IO/IP integration, routing congestion analysis, and technology-node-aware flows.
- Drive methodology innovations for ultra-low voltage designs, chiplet/multi-die systems, and advanced technology nodes.
- Collaborate with architecture, RTL, IP, physical design, package/board teams, foundries, and EDA partners to enable robust implementation strategies.
Requirements
Must-have technical and leadership skills to lead CAD/methodology initiatives.
- Strong expertise in SoC design flow automation for hierarchical floor-planning, PDN design, and advanced physical implementation methodologies.
- Proficient in programming and scripting (Python, C); experience with EDA tools, version control (Git), and distributed processing/debug environments.
- Hands-on experience with low-power design methodologies, UPF-based design, chip finishing, and physical verification flows in advanced process technologies.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate across globally distributed engineering teams and ecosystem partners.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Deep understanding of advanced clocking structures, power delivery optimization, and physical verification convergence techniques.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design automation and methodology optimization flows.
