Role Summary
Lead a team of ASIC digital design and verification engineers focused on high‑speed memory interface IP (HBM, DDR, LPDDR). Own technical direction, architecture decisions, RTL and verification execution, and cross‑functional integration from specification through silicon.
Experience Level
Senior-level - typically requires 15–20+ years of ASIC digital design and verification experience with substantial hands‑on work in memory interface IP.
Responsibilities
Accountable for technical leadership, delivery, and team development across memory interface IP projects.
- Lead and mentor ASIC digital design and verification engineers working on HBM, DDR, and LPDDR IP.
- Define and own RTL design and verification strategy at block and chip integration levels.
- Drive architecture decisions, design reviews, and quality checkpoints from spec to silicon.
- Coordinate with analog, DFT, physical design, and product teams to align specifications, schedules, and deliverables.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation to meet schedule and scope.
- Develop and refine design and verification methodologies, including automation and AI‑assisted tools.

- Proven record of leading engineering teams through full product cycles from architecture to silicon bring‑up.
- Deep expertise in RTL design, verification methodologies, and timing closure for high‑speed interfaces.
- Strong understanding of memory protocols, PHY/controller architecture, signal integrity, and timing challenges.
- Experience managing cross‑functional collaboration with analog, physical design, and product teams.
- Ability to communicate technical risks and tradeoffs to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Nice-to-have: experience with or strong interest in integrating AI‑driven design and verification tools.
