Role Summary

Lead development of application-specific mixed-signal and power ICs for the India market. This technical, cross-functional role defines system architecture, maps product needs to available IP, drives development execution, and builds a technical team from scratch.

Experience Level

Senior — requires extensive leadership and technical experience. The posting requests 15+ years in mixed-signal IC, analog IC, power IC, or related semiconductor product development.

Responsibilities

Drive product architecture, cross-business collaboration, program execution, qualification planning, and team formation.

• Define system and IC architecture for analog/power/mixed-signal solutions to meet application, cost, and manufacturability targets.
• Map architectures to existing IP across business units and identify gaps needing new development.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including system engineering, packaging, back-end, design, test, and operations.
• Lead programs through specification, planning, verification, validation, qualification, and production handoff.
• Plan DFT, test coverage, and reliability flows; incorporate automotive qualification and safety requirements where applicable.
• Recruit, build, and mentor a high-quality technical team; represent programs in senior leadership reviews.

Requirements

• 15+ years in mixed-signal, analog, power IC, or related semiconductor product development.
• Proven experience leading IC development across multiple functional teams (architecture, design, verification, validation, test, production).
• Practical knowledge of foundry, packaging, test, DFT, qualification, and manufacturing constraints.
• Experience building teams from scratch and mentoring technical contributors.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills; ability to present technical trade-offs to senior leadership.
• Product ownership mindset and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Nice to have: awareness of CMOS, BCD, and FET foundry capabilities; experience with advanced packaging technologies and India market dynamics.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline from a reputed institution (as stated). No explicit equivalency language provided.
