Role Summary

Lead mixed-signal IC product definition and development for India-focused markets. This technical, cross-functional role defines system architecture for application-specific ICs, drives IP reuse across business units, and delivers production-ready silicon.

Report to senior leadership and build a technical team in Bengaluru to execute architecture, design, verification, qualification, and production handoffs across automotive, industrial, power, and mixed-signal applications.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include product architecture, cross-business collaboration, delivery execution, reliability planning, and team-building.

• Define system architecture for application-specific ICs covering analog signal chains, power delivery, and digital-controller integration.
• Translate customer use cases, system requirements, cost targets, and application constraints into product architectures.
• Map architectures to existing IP across business units, identify gaps, and recommend new development where required.
• Lead development programs through specification, planning, execution, verification, validation, qualification, and production handoff.
• Develop execution plans with ownership, milestones, risks, resources, cost assumptions, and decision gates.
• Ensure choices align with foundry, packaging, test, DFT, qualification, and manufacturing constraints.
• Plan DFT, test coverage, reliability flows, and production-test implications early in design.
• Assess system-level fault behavior and safety/protection requirements relevant to automotive and industrial applications.
• Recruit, build, and mentor a technical team spanning architecture, design, verification, validation, and execution roles.
• Represent programs in senior leadership reviews with clear trade-offs, risks, and resource requests.

• Must-have: Proven track record leading cross-functional IC development teams and coordinating across product, design, test, packaging, and operations.
• Must-have: Practical experience with foundry, packaging, test, DFT, qualification, and production constraints in semiconductor development.
• Must-have: Experience planning for automotive qualification, reliability, and safety-related requirements where applicable.
• Must-have: Demonstrated ability to build and mentor technical teams and to assess technical depth during hiring.
• Nice-to-have: Experience mapping architectures to reusable IP across business units and managing reuse vs. new development trade-offs.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with India market requirements and local product cost/qualification considerations.
