Job Title

Director, CMBU Product Management

Role Summary

Lead product strategy, roadmap and lifecycle management for a global DRAM portfolio within the Cloud Memory Business Unit (CMBU). The role directs a global team of product managers and works cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, finance, operations and customers.

Primary mission: define multi-year product direction for DRAM and datacenter memory solutions, influence technical and commercial decisions, and represent the business to executives, customers, and industry partners.

Experience Level

Senior — typically requires 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience in product management or product development.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include setting strategy and driving execution for a global DRAM product portfolio.

  • Define and execute multi-year product strategy and roadmap for DRAM products.
  • Own full product lifecycle: planning, stage-gate reviews, launch, and end-of-life decisions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams through Micron’s Product Lifecycle Management process to deliver product releases.
  • Engage customers and industry partners to gather requirements and shape positioning and value propositions.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing product management team; provide portfolio briefings to executive leadership.
  • Represent the product portfolio externally to customers, partners, and industry forums as needed.

Requirements

Must-have technical and leadership qualifications and relevant domain experience.

  • 10+ years of semiconductor experience with product management or product development responsibilities.
  • Proven track record developing product strategies and managing products across the full lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated success leading direct teams and influencing cross-functional organizations.
  • Strong business acumen, executive-level communication skills, and customer-facing experience.
  • Ability to synthesize market and technology trends to inform product decisions and roadmaps.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with DRAM and memory technologies, datacenter memory solutions, AI infrastructure and accelerator architectures, and prior public/customer-facing presentations.
  • Nice-to-have: familiarity with agentic AI workflows and their implications for memory solutions; advanced business or technical degree.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is required. Preferred: MBA or Master’s degree in Management, Engineering, or a related field.
