Job Title
Digital Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Work as an ASIC Design Verification Engineer on Neuralink’s System-on-Chip (SoC) Implant Team. The role focuses on verifying digital modules, with emphasis on high-throughput, low-power digital signal processing (DSP) and SoC integration.
Experience Level
Mid-level — minimum 3 years of digital ASIC verification experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include building verification infrastructure, running regressions, and debugging RTL and system issues across design and lab environments.
- Develop SystemVerilog testbenches, verification components, and UVM-based environments.
- Plan and execute functional verification, code-coverage analysis, and regression infrastructure.
- Develop automation and scripting for verification flows (Python, Perl, Makefile, Tcl, UNIX shell).
- Debug RTL, verification failures, and system integration issues; collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and physical design teams.
- Verify SoC-level features including processor cores and bus interfaces; support FPGA/emulation flows.
- Support lab bring-up, diagnostics, and hardware-software debug when required.
