Digital Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Perform digital verification activities for ASIC/SoC designs as part of a verification team in Munich. The role focuses on creating and executing test scenarios, running simulations, analyzing results, and supporting debug and verification quality under team guidance.

Collaborate with design and methodology teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and document verification status and findings.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include:

• Develop and run verification test scenarios and simulations, and analyze results.
• Assist with debugging design issues and maintaining test environments.
• Improve verification coverage and contribute to verification practices and methodologies.
• Work with design and methodology teams to clarify requirements and support issue resolution.
• Prepare concise reports and documentation summarizing findings, status, and next steps.
• Contribute to technical learning, design quality, and continuous improvement in the team.

Requirements

Must-have skills and attributes:

• Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with engineering, design, verification, programming, or lab tools; willingness to learn quickly.
• Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Security-conscious and reliable approach to work; the role may include security-related tasks.

Nice-to-have:

• Hands-on experience from lab work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or graduating soon) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline. The assignment may be in scope of security certifications; relevant certifications may be required.
