Digital Verification

Role Summary

Perform digital verification engineering focused on IP and SoC-level memory controller functionality, including MRAM IP. Work with architecture and RTL teams to develop verification environments, test plans, and testcases to ensure delivered memory IP meets specifications and integrates into the SoC.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Approximately 5 years of relevant verification or engineering experience is expected.

Responsibilities

Deliver verification solutions for memory controller IP and related digital blocks across IP, sub-system and IC levels.

• Define and implement verification strategy and plans for IP or subsystem verification.
• Develop and maintain verification environments, UVM testbench components and project scripts.
• Build, debug and run testcases to validate memory controller features (including MRAM), perform waveform debugging, and write assertions.
• Analyze functional, toggle and code coverage; create additional testcases to close coverage gaps.
• Support gate-level simulations and legacy testbenches written in other languages.
• Review specifications during the project lifecycle and ensure final IP hardware is delivered to the SoC team.

Requirements

Required technical skills and experience.

• Approximately 5 years of professional experience in digital verification or related roles.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog and C/C++.
• Experience with ARM and DSP architectures.
• Experience with cache and flash memory controllers and MRAM memory controller verification.
• SoC-level verification experience for ARM-based microcontrollers.
• Experience with Cadence tool flow and gate-level simulations.
• IP-level verification and UVM testbench development.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or foreign equivalent; or equivalent practical experience.
