Job Title
Digital Verification
Role Summary
Performs digital verification engineering for IP and SoC projects with emphasis on MRAM IP memory controller verification. Works with architects and RTL designers to define and execute verification plans, build testbenches and testcases, and deliver verified memory IP to the SoC team.
Experience Level
Mid-level role. The posting specifies five (5) years of relevant post-baccalaureate experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include planning and executing verification activities for memory IP and related subsystems.
- Develop verification strategy and plans for IP, subsystem or IC level to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Design, build and maintain UVM testbenches and verification environments; support legacy testbenches in other languages.
- Create and debug testcases to validate memory controller features; perform waveform debugging and root-cause analysis.
- Write assertions and functional coverage bins; analyze functional, toggle and code coverage and add tests to close coverage gaps.
- Perform gate-level simulations and IP-level verification; work on SoC-level verification for ARM-based microcontrollers.
- Review memory controller specifications throughout the project and maintain project scripts and verification assets.
- Collaborate with architects, RTL designers and SoC integrators to guarantee final IP delivery.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant verification engineering experience.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and C/C++.
- Experience with ARM and DSP architectures.
- Knowledge of cache and flash memory controllers.
- SoC-level verification experience for ARM-based microcontrollers.
- Experience with Cadence tools and gate-level simulation flows.
- Proven IP-level verification experience, including building and maintaining UVM testbench components.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field (or foreign equivalent). The posting also specifies five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in related roles.
