Primary focus: test hardware and software development, hardware/software integration, silicon characterization and production yield improvement.

Experience Level

Mid-level. 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include design, integration, characterization and production support for SoC test development:

  • Design and debug test interface hardware (loadboards) and related fixtures.
  • Develop and validate test software / test programs for ATE and lab environments.
  • Integrate hardware and software for first-silicon bring-up and debug.
  • Develop characterization plans and run device characterization and data analysis.
  • Define process experiments (splits) and support multiple-source fab matching.
  • Generate test limits/guardbands and drive failure analysis to closure.
  • Drive test-time reduction and yield improvement initiatives across parallel projects while maintaining production quality.
  • Produce product documentation and present results to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Core technical skills and experience expected for success in this role.

  • Experience with SoC test development, including loadboard and ATE test-program creation.
  • Hands-on debugging of hardware and software integration during first-silicon bring-up.
  • Experience developing characterization plans and analyzing device/test data.
  • Knowledge of failure analysis processes and methods to close hardware issues.
  • Familiarity with yield analysis and initiatives to improve production yield and reduce test time.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with design, foundry, and manufacturing teams.
  • Good technical communication skills and experience preparing product/test documentation.
  • Nice-to-have: experience defining process splits, fab matching, or working on mobile SoC platforms.
