Responsibilities
Principal duties include hands-on hardware design, verification, and production support across multiple domains.
- Plan, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, including circuit and system bring-up and yield improvement.
- Integrate features and functionality into hardware designs per proposals or roadmaps.
- Perform simulations and analyses to meet targets for power, performance, and area.
- Collaborate with design, verification, validation, software, systems engineering, and architecture teams to implement requirements and test solutions.
- Develop and evaluate manufacturing and characterization solutions for leading-edge products.
- Assess reliability of materials and techniques; introduce automation and optimization to improve productivity.
- Identify potential design flaws, compatibility, or compliance issues and support mitigation.
- Produce detailed technical documentation for hardware projects.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes required to perform the role.
- Practical hardware engineering experience with hands-on design, verification, or test of electronic systems.
- Experience with circuit design (digital, analog, or RF) and performing simulations and analyses.
- Familiarity with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools.
- Proficiency using hardware test and measurement instruments (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF tools, etc.).
- Experience in product bring-up, characterization, and manufacturing/test solution development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Collaboration across cross-functional teams and ability to document technical work clearly.
- Nice-to-have: experience with FPGA/DSP systems, RF design, reliability evaluation, automation and test optimization.
